Dear All,
Our annual HRR Christmas Gathering was great this year. There were 89 attendees, and the food was delicious and the fellowship was fun. We collected 273 can goods, and a $70 donation that will benefit the Rutherford County Emergency Food Bank for our community. We donated 12 lbs. ham to The Journey Home that will enable them to use for breakfast Dec. 10th and 11th.
We would like to thank Donna and Ronnie Barrett for leading us in our special Christmas music, Carl and Carol Berning, along with Carol’s mother for sharing the HRR Christmas Song, Cindy and Rick Jones for 50/50. We also would like to thank William Warlick for his help in the delivery to the food bank.
A huge thank you to ALL that showed up Friday for set-up, Saturday for set-up and clean-up. Many hands make lots of work light, and that is just what this group does, they coordinate, show up and get the job done. An event this large could not be done with out ALL of you.
Let’s go ahead and mark our calendars for next year, December 5, 2020. Pearl and Tom Vassar will be our host for 2020, same place and same time.
Our club is growing, because you attend and we all have fun. Keep attending, having fun and don’t forget your name tags! See you at the next event! Pictures below.
